haPpy 1st biRthDay lil BoY!

Well it's came and gone.... The first birthday party!! I did unbelievably well all day, went into major "make this happen" mode.. We celebrated with a Circus theme with TONS of family and friends.. I was so humbled at all that showed up and the bazillion gifts Lawson got. I love it that so many others share the love of my lil miracle... After the party, and putting up the gifts, after the bath, and while giving him his LAST BOTTLE EVER in the glider in his room, this Momma broke down. On the wall in front of me was his little hospital bracelet and lil baby blue hat he always wore right after we brought him home...it had already been a whole year.. And here I was rocking my 20 pound lil boy. A year old. Wow how the time just flies by. I just absolutely love my life with this little boy so much that at times I cannot even wrap my mind around it. Thank you God for this gift in the form of a sweet natured, funny, brown-eyed adorable baby boy named Lawson Crue ;)

Since his bday he has taken about 14 total steps, and has sprouted a couple more teeth!! Making it a total count of two and a half top teeth and three bottom teeth!There are two on top and two on bottom that will break thru anytime now as well! He also got tubes in his ears on July 30th, and we closed on our new home the first week of August! It has been busy in the Bordeaux house! We also started daycare this week. Yes, I said WE, it is a team effort people. Darryl made me take him and drop him off for the first time today and it was not a cool situation. I sat out n the car in the driveway after dropping him off and cried all my makeup off! I hate it that we are paying others to do what I love most, care for my baby. In my opinion THEY should be paying ME! LOL...

It's been an awesome year. I don't cry because I am not looking forward to what is to come, because I really, really do look forward to it. I cry because I will miss these moments, and I do cherish every single one, so much it brings me to tears.
