6 month shots = not cool.

Well yesterday our little guy had his 6 month well baby check up, with that came shots. Two in each leg :( He's always such a brave little guy, he always gets the saddest look on his face and cries while actually getting the shots, but as soon as it's over and we grab him up and love on him, he instantly resumes his happy lil self ;)...Yesterday was a little different, I grabbed him after the shots and he leaned over towards Daddy! He went to Daddy and latched onto his shirt for dear life then turned and gave me the stink eye! He was mad at me! I didn't do it! It made me feel so bad! In better news, he weighed in at 15 lb 6oz, that's just the tenth percentile for weight so he's still small, but hey, he's gained 11 lbs in 6 months, let's not be too hard on him! He was 26 3/4 in long, fiftieth percentile for height, this is a drastic improvement considering last time he was in the 5th-10th percentile! After flirting, smiling, and talking to Dr. Koons and her nurse he got to have an eye check up with one of his favorite people in the world, Dr. Clay. He did so good for him and was so excited to see him, although I'm sure he was a little disappointed he wasn't dancing and singing to Lady Gaga for him like he does when they are at his house. LOL.. We had lunch and seen Paula and Chuck at Benedict Street then we went home for some chicken and apples (yum!) and a nap. He slept for 4 hours, he was so tuckered out. As the evening progressed, he felt worse and worse, his fever got up to 102.8, and his legs and his teeth were giving him a rough time. Darryl and I let him take a warm bath in the big bathtub and he absolutely loved it! I held his tiny butt in 1 hand and his head in the other while he just reclined back and relaxed...then he discovered splashing...lets just say we were all soaked by the time he was done! Anywho, it was a rough night, from 1am-4am, he just wanted Momma and that's exactly what he got.
